Meet the Authors Cassie Hamer & Emma Harcourt

Cassie Hamer and Emma Harcourt are local writers and former journalists. When they sat down to write their first published novels, both decided to draw on personal experiences and history. But the final, finished novels could not be more different.
Join us for an evening of fun and conversation that will take you from the glamour and turmoil of 1920s Shanghai, to the juggle and struggle of 21st century parenting in Sydney’s eastern suburbs. Cassie Hamer’s latest novel is After the party and Emma Harcourt’s is The Shanghai Wife.

Join author Scott Francipane and Jett the dog from The Little paws pack as he reads from his new picture book Friends for all seasons. A story of diversity, equality and acceptance. Follow the real life adventures of Jett and her friends as they journey through the four seasons and learn a valuable lesson.
There will be crafts and activities for the kids. This event is best suited for children aged 4-7 yrs old but the whole family is welcome.
