Hi, I am Momo. I am Japanese and have been in Australia for 8 years. I am an outdoor person who enjoys rock climbing, camping and hiking, any activities that connect me with nature.
I have a Diploma in early childhood education and care and have been working as an educator since 2015 in centre based care, where I have been growing my love and passion for supporting children’s early learning journeys.
I have worked with children of different age groups from 0-5 years and have transitioned from a local early learning centre into opening my own Family Day Care Service.
My passion is to build secure and trustful relationships with children, tuning into their emotions, needs and voices, and delivering high quality care and education for all children, valuing and respecting their individuality.
Momo’s Learning Tree Family Day Care is based in Kensington. Even though it is a convenient location and close to the city, at my FDC children will learn and grow, being introduced to a lot of nature and natural resources where they can learn life skills and explore their own creativity and imaginations.
All the learning experiences are intentional, play based and planned, incorporating the children's interests, which allows children to have fun while they learn.
My goal is to create a small community where we can share and support one another working in partnerships with families and providing all with a sense of belonging.
Please reach out to learn more!
