Keep it Local
Small businesses are the heart and soul of Waverley and it’s this community who has been hit particularly hard by the effects of COVID-19. As part of our response to this, Waverley Council and the Bondi & Districts Chamber of Commerce have launched the Keep It Local website
Keep It Local is Waverley's one-stop shop for local businesses. It's a dedicated online database for Waverley businesses to list information about what they're offering to the community. The platform makes it easy for our local residents to search and source from local suppliers. The website is free for businesses to register and manage their listings for ongoing updates.
Register your business now
We’re strongly encouraging all small businesses to register their details so that they can be part of this exciting initiative. It only takes a few minutes to sign up:
- Log onto the Keep It Local directory
- Click the 'Add Listing' button on the top right-hand corner
- Fill in the details about your business
- Add a quick video about your business (see tips here) for social media promotion
Local Legends Competition
To celebrate our small businesses in 2020, we launched the Local Legends Competition! We asked the community to vote for their favourite local business for the chance to win $100 voucher to spend with any local business listed on the Keep It Local website. Our businesses weren't left out of the fun either! At the end of the competition period, the three local business legends with the highest number of votes each received $500 Keep It Local vouchers as well!
Congratulations to our business winners: Bru Coffee, Gertrude & Alice and Bondi Vixen
