Brighton Boulevard Kerb Buildout

Waverley Council is completing kerb and gutter works at the intersection of Brighton Boulevard and Campbell Parade, North Bondi.

Temporary parklet with planting

The works include:

  • Kerb and gutter realignment
  • Saw-cutting concrete paving
  • Installing garden beds with planting
  • Establishing additional turfed area for the inclusion of a new street tree

These works are part of Council’s parklet program which aims to make our streets more pedestrian-friendly and improve the amenity of the area. Following the success of the parklet placed at the corner of Brighton Boulevard and Campbell Parade in August 2020, these works will establish a permanent landscaped space for the community to enjoy and the parklet will be moved to a new location.

Construction update

Works will start on 13 March 2023 and are expected to take 10 working days to complete, weather permitting. Work hours will be from 7am–5pm, Monday to Friday and 8am–1pm on Saturdays (if required).

During construction, traffic and pedestrian movements will be managed to ensure the area can continue to be used safely. We apologise for any convenience these works may cause and thank you for your patience as these works are completed.
