Council holds a range of events that target and support businesses in the local government area. Please follow links below for more information.

Waverley Business Forum

Waverley Council and Bondi & District Chambers of Commerce are meetings with representatives of business owners and operators, property owners, government and other agencies and other stakeholders. The forums promote cooperation and collaboration between all players in Waverley’s commercial centres.
Masterclasses

In an increasingly competitive economy, masterclasses allow for local businesses to attend an introductory 90 minute masterclass on a specific topic delivered by a subject matter expert. Each masterclass introduces a topic area and offer key learning/s and tools to take away in 2 hour session.
Workshops

Council occasionally hold workshops to support the local business community on a variety of issues. We bring together presenters and facilitators from state and federal government, private sector, as well as consultants.
Business awards

Our Brightest and Best Business Awards allow the community to celebrate local businesses. Operating a business involves great dedication and ingenuity in an always changing environment. Our annual awards event works with independent company to manage nominations and an external panel of judges select winners across numerous categories.
