Night works on Oxford St between St James Rd and Centennial Park Woollahra gates - 28 October 2022

Night works are required on Monday 14 November on Oxford St to complete asphalting on the cycleway. The map below outlines the specific location of the night work areas.

These works will be noisy as heavy machinery will be used, however we will endeavour to minimise disruption where possible. Work hours will be from 8pm-5am (weather permitting), during which time the westbound bus stop on Oxford St will be temporarily relocated to  the existing stop at Denison St, as outlined in the map below.

Pedestrian routes will still be accessible during these night works, please follow directions from traffic controllers.

Following completion of these works, further night works are tentatively scheduled on Tuesday 29 and Wednesday 30 November to complete milling and road re-sheeting. These works will take place from 8pm–5am (weather permitting) and will be noisy as heavy machinery will be used.

To facilitate this second set of night works, parking along the eastern side of York Rd (between the traffic lights) will be closed off from Saturday 26 to Wednesday 30 November between the hours of 3pm and 5am. The westbound bus stop will be temporarily relocated to the existing stop at Denison St and the eastbound bus stop will be temporarily relocated to the existing stop opposite Denison St, as outlined on the map below.

Pedestrian routes will still be accessible during these night works, please follow directions from traffic controllers.
