Thomas Hogan Reserve Upgrade

Following community consultation in 2017, Thomas Hogan Reserve has undergone a number of upgrades to the central clearing and community hall landscape. The original concept design can be viewed here and the Ecological Restoration Action Plan can be found here.

To ensure that Council provides accessible and enjoyable spaces for everyone, we recently finished an upgrade of Thomas Hogan Reserve. The works focused on improving the pathway to Thomas Hogan Reserve Community Hall, considered landscaping and planting of native trees.

The upgrade included:

  • Demolition of existing pathway to the Community hall
  • Main entrance to Community Hall upgraded for step-free access
  • New decking area around Community Hall
  • Drainage improvement to prevent flooding
  • General landscaping and planting work
  • Additional turfing added

Construction works commenced in early August 2020 and were completed in October 2020.
