Eastgate Carpark Spring St Exit improvements
To improve safety and amenity, the Eastgate Carpark, Spring St exit, is being converted from a two lane exit into one. The changes will greatly improve pedestrian and vehicle safety and support residents and visitors to Eastgate Carpark.
The upgrade will:
- reduce the carpark exit from two lanes to a single lane, benefiting pedestrian movement and safety
- enhance and maximise the amount of usable space in the Eastgate carpark, which leads onto Spring St
Construction is scheduled for 30 March 2020 and should be complete one month after the start date (personnel permitting). We are working closely with the other teams on site to coordinate works.
