Family photo album
" "" "

I found this photo album in a deceased estate that we had just purchased in Gipps St, Bronte in 1992! My family and I were renovating this house when we discovered the album. We had attempted to contact family members through the Estate agent to no avail!

I loved how the photos bring the characters of the 1920's to life through this documented history of friendships, local community sporting teams (Rowing & Surf Lifesaving Clubs, Racing, Skiing, tennis, picnicking in Centennial Park....) and the sharing of their travel journeys and modes of transport in a time close to 100 years ago....It has photos from local places such as Bronte Beach as well as travels to different states and cities.

Looks like they had the work/life balance perfect!
