Waverley Art Prize

 

Waverley Council is a major sponsor of the Waverley Art Prize and works with the Waverley Woollahra Art School to produce the annual competition and exhibition now it's 27th year.  This year, the Prize has a new Street Arts category to attract young artists to art competitions.

The 2012 judges are: Jacques Delaruelle (Art Theorician/ Writer), Kerrie Lester (Artist), Sam Dickerson (Gallery Director) and Councillor John Wakefield (Mayor of Waverley)

The Waverley Art Prize is very grateful for its long term sponsors Art Spectrum and Matisse Derivan. This year's new sponsors include Shillington College of Graphic Design and the Sydney Art Store.  Shillington College is sponsoring an exciting new Street Art Prize for young artists (under 18) and the Sydney Art Store is sponsoring  Landscape Prize

We are survey artists and previous entrants to improve the running of the Waverley Art Prize
