Join us for a fun new series of collage-making classes at Waverley Library. Collage is made up of magazine and newspaper clippings, discarded books, paint, coloured or handmade papers, portions of other artwork or texts, photographs and other found objects.

Meet the Author: Trent Maxwell with 'Maxi the Lifeguard'

Join author and Bondi lifeguard Trent Maxwell better known as Maxi from Bondi Rescue as he reads from his new book series Maxi The Lifeguard. This fun and interactive session that will help children understand beach safety and what they can do to help keep the environment clean.

There will be crafts and activities for the kids on the day.
This event is best suited for primary school aged children but the whole family is welcome to attend.

Books available for sales and signing at the event.

FOWL presents: What the Dickens!

The Friends of Waverley Library invite you to accompany Walter Mason on a journey into the world of Oliver Twist, a world so different from the world of children today.
Walter is the Vice President of the NSW Dickens Society as well as a renowned speaker and author.
