Waverley Library – Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) Update
Following advice from the Australian Government, Waverley Council and Waverley Library is committed to taking the necessary steps to support the health and well-being of the community and our staff.
The corona virus situation is evolving rapidly with information and advice changing daily however as it currently stands, Waverley Library will remain open.
To ensure public safety, all library programs and events including story times, workshops and regular activities are cancelled until further notice. We highly encourage social distancing measures which includes avoiding handshakes or other close contact, as well as maintaining a 1.5 metre distance between one another.
We are however increasing both the number of items which can be borrowed to 50 and the loan period to 6 weeks.
We will continue to do our utmost to serve our community to the highest standard throughout this period. As new information comes to light, we will provide updates to the community via our website.
