Precinct policy

Waverley Council's Precinct Committees operate according to a Precinct Policy. The Policy is reviewed every four years with the most recent review completed in 2012. The outcome of this process was a revised Policy and the development of a Precinct Handbook/resource which draws together in an integrated manual Council's Precinct Policy (2012), Code of Practice for Precinct Executives, Precinct Operational Guidelines and templates to ensure Waverley's precinct members are adequately supported. The sections of the resource complement each other and can be cross referenced to maximise practical application.

This resource represents several years of work and was recommended in the 2007 Council review of its precinct system.
