Waverley has so many shops and shopping villages you’ll never run out of places to spend your money.

Bondi Junction

Bondi Junction is the commercial centre of the Eastern Suburbs, with a major Black Label Westfield shopping centre, Eastgate Shopping Centre, as well as a range of smaller stores specialising in fashion, dining, homewares, office, electrical and recreational goods.

Bondi Junction is also a public transport hub with a major rail network and bus terminal servicing the Eastern Suburbs.

Oxford Street Mall

Oxford Street Mall is a modern outdoor pedestrian mall featuring al fresco cafes and restaurants as well as a range of shops and a weekly produce and artisans’ market every Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. The traffic-free mall is also the venue for many exciting community events including the ever popular Global Table.

Bronte Road

Bronte Road, the southern gateway to the Junction, is mainly home to business support services. Bronte Road also features some great restaurants and retail speciality stores.

Oxford Street West

Oxford Street West, nestled between Paddington and Bondi Junction, is fast becoming a hip street attracting start up niche businesses, quirky second hand goods, organic food outlets and casual cafes.

Waverley Street Mall and Oxford Street East

Leafy Waverley Street Mall is a tranquil spot away from its busy surrounding area. It features a speciality bakery, cafes and fashion stores. Oxford Street East features a range of beauty and hair salons catering to all tastes and ages.

Bondi Road

Bondi Road - the main route from Bondi Junction to Bondi Beach - is home to an eclectic mix of restaurants, wine bars, cafes, bottle shops, grocers, delis, florists, takeaways, fish mongers, butchers, patisseries and other interesting shops.

The Eastern Suburbs Community College, Waverley Woollahra Art School and Waverley Oval are also situated along busy Bondi Road.

Charing Cross

This shopping village is a shopper’s dream. Just a short walk from Bondi Junction, Charing Cross has a genuine village feel with unique and bespoke fashion outlets, home design outlets, cafés, restaurants, pubs, delicatessens, a bank, post office, hardware store, printer, chemist, barber and so much more.

Bronte Café Strip and Macpherson Street

Referred to locally as ‘Paradise’, you can dine alfresco at one of the many cafés and restaurants while you watch the waves, swimmers and surfers on the café strip at Bronte Beach. A true hidden treasure of Waverley with another group of wonderful shops and eateries a short distance up the road in Macpherson Street.

Bondi Beach and Town Centre

Bondi is one of Sydney’s most electric and exciting precincts. Ask anyone to name the first beach they can think of and Bondi Beach would be a likely response. This kilometre-long sandy beach is patrolled by the now famous Waverley Council Life Guards (the stars of Bondi Rescue) who watch over and ensure the safety of swimmers and surfers. This place is certainly one of the world’s best!

Just up from the beach, Bondi Town Centre boasts beachfront cafes and restaurants to suit every budget and taste on Campbell Parade coupled with eclectic designer fashion in trendy Gould Street or fashion bargains in Hall Street, Bondi is sure to please both local and visiting shoppers.

Rose Bay (Old South Head Road)

This relaxed shopping area offers everyday necessities through to boutiques and homewares as well as cafes and restaurants.

Seven Ways & North Bondi

Just a few blocks back from the beach, Seven Ways and North Bondi host some of Bondi’s buzziest café hubs alongside butchers, grocers, newsagents, beauticians and more.
