    Celebrate the 1967 Referendum and the 1992 Mabo Decision with a day of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander ceremony, culture and an earth oven in the sand. Formalities will begin at 11am followed by food served from the earth oven from 12pm. 

    When: Saturday 1 April, 11am-3pm

    Discover Bondi's glorious and not so glorious past as you walk around the hidden gems of Bondi. Lead by local historian Lawrie Williams, the walks are guaranteed to intrigue and delight.

    Meet up at 9.45am for a 10am start. The walk is approximately 2 hours long.

    When you register for your spot, you will be given a meeting point and be required to sign an indemnity form.

    Pay your respects to the fallen at the ANZAC Day Dawn Service at Waverley Cemetery. This ceremony remembers all Australians who have served and died in war an operational service. The service will convene at 4.50am, at the War Memorial (near the main entrance - St Thomas Street, Bronte). 

    A light breakfast will be provided.

    Drop them off at Clovelly Beach Car Park (end of Clovelly Road, Clovelly) on Saturday 29 April 2017, from 9am - 3.30pm! This is a FREE service that allows you to dispose of common household chemicals in a safe and environmentally friendly way.

    Waverley Council would like your feedback on the Draft Bronte Park and Beach Plan of Management. This plan will guide how we manage Bronte over the next 10 years.

  • Bondi Beach History Walk  thumbnail Bondi Beach History Walk 30/04/2017 to 30/04/2017

    Visitors will see Bondi Beach sites of significance and hear historical details about them. During a pleasant hour of walking there will be discussion about these sites and contributions by walkers that attend that are local to the area. A good opportunity to swap community knowledge.
