Waverley Youth Week is an opportunity for young people to express ideas and views, act on important issues, create and enjoy activities and celebrate their talents and contribution to the community. A full list of Youth Week events happening in Bondi and the surrounds listed below.

Youth Week events

 "Bondi Blitz  

Sunday 7 April 11am -  5pm, Dolphin Court, Bondi Pavilion (ages 12+) 
WAYS Youth & Family, Waverley Council and Woollahra Council present a FREE all-ages, drug and alcohol-free music event showcasing young performers.

Storytelling workshop - What's Your Story?

Tuesday 16 April, 10am – 4pm, Bondi Pavilion. 
A one-day theatre story telling workshop for Years 10, 11 & 12. Learn to tell an engaging story, get tips on performance techniques and writing comedy, and loads more! Book here.

 "Bondi Sea Wall

Every Saturday from 6 April - 11 May, and Sunday 12 May.

Young Yoga

15 April (12-14 years) 4pm-5pm, 16 April (15-17 years), Waverley Library May.
Take the opportunity this youth week to go on a journey of self-discovery, and explore a tool kit of skills and strategies to manage stressful circumstances life may present. Details and bookings: 12 - 14 years15 - 17 years.

 "Tabletop Game Marathon!

17 April, 2-5pm (13+ years) at Waverley Library
Seasoned gamers and total noobs (read: beginners) alike are welcome at this friendly tabletop game session 17 April, 2-5pm (13+ years) at Waverley Library. Details and bookings at eventbrite.

 "Classical Still Life Drawing

18 April, 4 – 6.30pm (13-18 years) at Waverley Library.
Learn how to plan the initial stages of your drawing through to rendering the final look of the image. A social and informal session ideal for both beginners and experienced artists. Snacks and materials provided. Book at eventbrite .



17 and 24 April, 7pm, Bondi Pavilion
SALT is a performance inspired by oral storytelling tradition and myths, in an immersive 360 degree space, female voices sing out to the audience, asking them to listen to a history of silence  Details and bookings at


The House that Dan Built - workshops

" "Autumn School Holiday Progam

Free and paid activities for children and young people offered at Waverley Library, Bondi Pavilion, Margaret Whitlam Recreation Centre and Waverley Woollahra Art School. All programs are facilitated by a combination of Waverley Council specialist staff, artists, industry professionals and partner organisations.
