Waverley's Reference Library provides library users with a range of technology to enhance your access to information, and to support the process of life-long learning.

The Library currently maintains a Technology Hub of 12 computers:

12 IBM Lenavo PCs, with Internet connection and the following software:

  • Internet Explorer

  • Mozilla Firefox

  • Windows XP

  • Microsoft Word

  • Microsoft Excel

  • Microsoft Power Point

  • Adobe Acrobat Reader

These PCs are capable of saving data, images and sound bytes to:

  • Conventional floppy disks

  • CDR and CDRW storage discs.

  • Datasticks and similar external and mobile storage devices.

All these computers have print capability using via a HP LaserJet 4200N printer. (Black and White printing only.)

The Technology Hub is supported by a Canon Microfilm Scanner 800.

The Canon MS800 universal microfilm scanner offers high speed and high resolution scanning of all microforms.

  • A3 output and A3 printing

  • Motorised zoom, focus, rotation and automatic focus.

  • 90° image rotation.

The scanner is attached to a printer, for increased ease of use.
