Green lid garden waste bin

Council offers residents a fortnightly collection of their green lid garden waste bin. Find your collection day here.

Houses and terraces are entitled to either an 140 litre or 240 litre bin. Multi-unit dwellings such as apartment buildings are entitled to have a maximum of two 240 litre bins.

Extra collections and additional bins

We recognise there are times when residents may have extra garden waste material. Please note that Council will not collect garden waste material which is placed on top of or next to your bin.

You can book an extra paid collection for $26 per bin. Additional garden waste bins are available however they are subject to an additional annual Domestic Waste Charge of $515.
