Local Teachers Brains Trust

Would you like to make learning about sustainability fun for your students – and reduce your planning time?

We're inviting local teachers to participate in our “Brains Trust” forum to help guide the development of a support program or resource to assist with sustainability education in your classrooms.

What’s involved?

  • 2 interactive forum sessions facilitated by Les Robinson, a well-known expert in behaviour change.
  • Opportunities to network with other teachers and assist with the development of an exciting new support program for educators.
This is a great opportunity for your school and a valuable experience for teachers to be involved in shaping sustainability education in Waverley.

The sessions will provide an opportunity for networking with other teachers and schools, ideas-sharing and a chance to raise the profile of your school and the work you are already doing around sustainability education. Through these forums, you'll be involved in the development of a new program that will in turn, help your students become responsible citizens, empowered and aware of environmental issues and solutions.

A $50 book voucher will be offered to each participating school as a thank you for being involved.
