Action on Graffiti

Have you seen our graffiti team out and about?

The team of two removed 1738 incidents of graffiti in 2008, equivalent to 15 273 square metres. We use a purpose built graffiti removal truck that operates on natural gas and uses an environmentally safe solution to remove graffiti.

We remove graffiti from:

  • High profile primary locations

These include major commercial centres, gateway locations, thoroughfares, village centres and trouble spots.

Graffiti in some locations detracts from the overall look and feel of Waverley. These locations, on private, commercial or public property are identified as Hot Spots. If your property is a Hot Spot, Council will remove it free of charge within 48 hours.
