Dog Walking Areas

Waverley Council has designated several areas for on-leash and off-leash dog walking. Currently there are seven off-leash parks in the Waverley Council area.

Currently, there are three parks (Dickson Park, Hugh Bamford Reserve and Waverley Park) that are undergoing
a 12 month trial for an off-leash area.Tell us what you think about these trial areas by filling in this quick survey. Alternatively you can register your feedback by calling Council’s Customer Service Centre on (02) 9369 8000 to register your feedback.

Waverley Council will install and maintain clear signage and dog litter bag dispensers at all off-leash parks. Rangers will work with the community to promote the principles of responsible dog ownership.

For further information about your responsibility as a Dog Owner in public spaces please download our dogs brochure.
