Abandoned Vehicles

It is an offence under the Road Transport (Vehicle Registration) Act to park an unregistered vehicle on a public street. If you suspect there is an abandoned vehicle in your street, contact our Customer Service Centre on 9369 8000 and supply the operator with the following information

  1. location details ?
  2. whether car is still registered ?
  3. registration number ?
  4. colour of car ?
  5. model of car ?

Register of cars impounded under the Impounding Act 1993

Abandoned Vehicles that are removed under the Provision of the Impounding Act are stored at Council's Holding Yard.
