List Of Available Application Forms Associated With The Development And Construction Process

Listed below are all the forms and supporting information sheets that Waverley Council hold in connection with developing a property. The forms are able to be down loaded or alternatively contact Council on 9369 8000 and request the forms be posted to you.

Pre Development Application

You can lodge a preliminary application with Council to obtain an opinion on a proposal before you lodge a formal development application. If you are seeking to participate in the Waverley Affordable housing Program (WAHP), a Pre-DA meeting is required.

Development Application – Part A & Part B

Required for all Development Applications. Development consent cannot be granted unless the form is completed and submitted.

Development Application Compliance Table

This is required to be submitted with all applications and identifies how your development application complies with the relevant numerical provisions of Council’s Planning Controls.

This checklist is required to be submitted with your development application and identifies the proposed garbage storage facilities for the development.

Development Application Checklist

This checklist is to be submitted with all development applications and identifies what plans and documentation is being submitted with the application.

Colour Code for Plans

Provides the standard colours to be used on plans to identify materials used in the development.

Additional Information for Non-Residential Development

Applications for non-residential development including a change of use application are required to submit this form with additional details regarding the operation of the development.

Objection Under State Environmental Planning Policy No.1

If your application seeks a departure from a development standard contained in the Waverley Local Environmental Plan 1996 or Joint Waverley and Woollahra Local Environmental Plan 1991 – Bondi Junction Commercial Centre you are required to complete this form.

Should you wish Council to review the determination of your application you are required to complete this application.

Should you wish to modify either the approved plans or a condition of consent you are required to submit this application.

Waverley Affordable Housing Program DA Information

Should you wish to participate in the WAHP, you are required to review and where appropriate complete the following DA information; to be supplied at time of lodgement.

Complying Development Application

Certain development covered under Waverley Development Control Plan 2006 – Part C1 or C2 does not require development consent of Council should you satisfy the stated criteria for the form of development. A Complying Development Application with the necessary sub category forms can be submitted to either Council or a private certifier.

Construction Certificate Application

A Construction Certificate is required to certify the technical aspects of building work. Council or a Private Certifier may issue a Construction Certificate.

Occupation of Council’s Footpath Application

Should your construction require the provision of a hoarding over Council’s footpath or require the storage of materials on Council’s footpath you must obtain Council’s approval.

This information sheet identifies the level of detail required on the Soil and Water Management Plan to be submitted with an application.

Notice to Commence – PCA Form

Before you commence works on a site the subject of an approval you must advise Council the commencement date of work and who has been nominated as the Principal Certifying Authority to oversee that works comply with the development consent and the Building Code of Australia.

Subdivision Certificate Application Form

This is required only for applications for subdivision or consolidation. It is required once development consent has been granted.

Planting a Footpath Garden
