The Chair called for Declarations of Interest and none were received.
C-0802.1Status of Public Place Action Plan 2007/2008 (A04/2016)
Report dated 22 January 2008 from the Director, Public Works & Services regarding the current status of the Public Place Action Plan.
MOTION / DECISION (Kay / Clayton)
That Council receive and note the report from the Director, Public Works & Services advising the status of the Public Place Action Plan 2007/2008.
C-0802.2Results of the Public Place Recycling Trial conducted in Bronte Park (A07/0604)
Report dated 25 January 2008 from the Director, Planning & Environmental Services about the results of the public place recycling trial in Bronte Park.
MOTION / DECISION (Main / Copeland)That:
1. Council receive and note this report.
2. The recycling bins remain permanently in Bronte Park.
3. A similar trial is conducted in Bondi Park.
C-0802.3Campbell Parade, Bondi Beach - Heritage Wall (A06/0232-02)
Report dated 24 January 2008 from the Acting Director, Corporate & Technical Services about a proposal to carry out maintenance repairs to the heritage wall in Campbell Parade between Roscoe Street and the Queen Elizabeth Drive Car Park exit.
MOTION / RECOMMENDATION (Clayton / Kay)That Council approve the cleaning and repairs to the heritage wall in Campbell Parade between Roscoe Street and the Queen Elizabeth Drive car park exit.
C-0802.RM SUBMISSION OF RESCISSION MOTIONS
Note from the General Manager: Rescission motions must be submitted to the General Manager, or in the absence of the General Manager a member of Council's Governance Unit, and announced before the close of the meeting. The date and time of receipt will be noted on all rescission motions.
Rescission motions received before the close of a meeting will stay action to implement Council's decision until the rescission motion has been determined. This is in line with section 372 of the Local Government Act and Council's Code of Meeting Practice.
Rescission motions received after the close of a meeting will not stay action on implementing Council's decision.
Rescission motions will generally be dealt with at the next Council meeting.
The Chair called for the submission of any rescission motions and none were received.
