Permanent Wave Business Program

front_cover.jpg The Permanent Wave Business Program seeks to strike long-term partnerships between local businesses and Council with the aim to cooperatively improve our local environment. The Protection of the Environment Operations Act 1997 now requires individuals and businesses to take stringent measures against environmental pollution resulting from everyday practices.

This project has been established to assist business owners in identifying the environmental risk of their practices and to provide the means to achieve compliance with current legislation.

Tenants' Survival Guide

NewTenants.jpg Waverley Council is one of the most densely populated local government areas in Australia. Our high population density puts a lot of pressure on the environment. So as residents, it's up to us to take care of the area and make sure it remains a great place to live.

The Tenant's Survival Guide answers questions you many have about what to do with your waste when moving in, while living in Waverley and when you move out.
