The Community Worker is based at the Mill Hill Centre in Bondi Junction. This position meets with members of the community and organisations providing services for 5-25 year olds in Waverley. This worker is involved in youth programming, area youth services, working with the Waverley/Woollahra Youth Advisory Council and policy development.
Local youth and community services like the ‘Out of School Hours ‘ services are supported as are youth related activities and events. Current projects include graffiti management and the development of safety guidelines for Bondi Skate park, helping organise this year's Children's Festival and supporting local non-government youth services.
