Housing for Older People

Waverley Council provides secure and affordable housing for people over 60 years of age who have a low income, are on the waiting list for NSW public housing and can demonstrate ties to the Waverley Local Government Area.

Our 56 units are in various locations in Waverley and are managed by experienced community and social housing providers. Rent is 30% of household income. Units are allocated strictly in order of application, and the average waiting time for a unit is currently 2-3 years.

For further information about our aged housing units please contact our Community Worker for Older People and Access on 9386 7999 or view our information brochure.

You can download an application form for Waverley Housing for Older People here.

A cover letter which explains the eligibility criteria for the program can be downloaded here.
