A part time worker is employed to work with the Cultural and Linguistically Diverse (CALD) community and the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander (ATSI) community.
The worker liaises with the above groups to identify their issues, needs and aspirations and assist Council officers to implement Council’s specific policies.
The worker is facilitating a Multicultural Advisory Committee and has input in the Eastern Region Local Government Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Forum.
