Waverley Design Awards

 

The Waverley Design Awards publicly recognise outstanding contributions to the built environment through innovative contemporary design and heritage conservation.

Established in 2005 to promote Waverley’s rich heritage through the conservation of heritage-listed properties and heritage conservation areas, the awards have since evolved to recognise outstanding contemporary design, cutting edge architecture and interior design, and functionality and sustainability.

The awards are open to completed projects that demonstrate exemplary contemporary design. This could be the adaptation and conservation of heritage fabric in a building, a landscaped entry, secluded garden, interior design and fit‑out or the creative use of colours and materials are all valued contributions to the rich diversity of Waverley’s character.
